帰国子女アカデミー（KA）と郁文館夢学園は、2026年度より英語教育における連携を開始し、オリジナルの放課後英語プログラムを導入しました。
本プログラムは、郁文館中学校グローバルクラス・グローバル高等学校の6年一貫コースの生徒を対象に、日本の学校教育の枠組みの中にありながら、海外大学進学も見据えた高度な英語力とアカデミックな思考力を育てる学習環境を提供します。

郁文館の教育方針の一つである「Who are you? への回答」も踏まえながら、自分の価値観やアイデンティティを見つめる探究型の学びと試験対策を進めます。通常授業で学んだ内容を放課後にも活かすサイクルを通じて、英語力の向上に加え、英語で考え、議論し、発信する力を養います。

New after-school program supports advanced English learning and global university pathways for junior and senior high school students
Kikokushijo Academy (KA) and Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen have launched a new partnership in English education beginning in the 2026 academic year, introducing an original after-school English program.
The program is designed for students in the Global Class at Ikubunkan Junior High School and the six-year integrated course at Ikubunkan Global High School. Within the framework of a Japanese school education, it provides a learning environment where students can develop advanced English proficiency and academic thinking skills with overseas university admission in mind.

Based on KA’s established English programs, the curriculum has been customized to align with the school’s educational philosophy and students’ developmental stages.

In line with Ikubunkan’s educational philosophy of helping students answer the question, “Who are you?”, the program combines inquiry-based learning focused on personal values and identity with academic and examination preparation. By creating opportunities for students to continue engaging with themes introduced during regular classes through after-school study, the program aims not only to strengthen English proficiency, but also to develop the ability to think critically, discuss ideas, and communicate effectively in English.

“Last year, I had the opportunity to meet Charles Knudsen, founder of Kikokushijo Academy, and felt a strong alignment in our mission and vision for international education. I believe this partnership was a natural outcome of our shared educational philosophy.
At our school, we are strengthening English education with global university pathways in mind, setting ambitious goals for students beginning at the junior high school level. To achieve this, we have introduced after-school Eiken Pre-1 and Grade 2 preparation classes taught by native instructors, building a strong foundation for English proficiency that leads to overseas university admission.
