リニューアルオープンしたBAPE STORE(R)COMME des GARCONS OSAKA の店内をいち早くお届け。

2020年4月3日(金)、「A BATHING APE(R)」が大阪・心斎橋の御堂筋沿いに、「BAPE STORE(R) コムデギャルソン 大阪」をオープン。同店舗は移転リニューアルオープンしたコムデギャルソン大阪店内に居を構えるショップインショップ。内装は川久保玲氏が手掛け、既存のBAPE STORE(R)とは趣の異なる「BAPE(R)」の世界観は必見。

日本が誇る世界的ファッションデザイナーである川久保玲氏が1969年に設立したブランド「COMME des GARCONS」。同ブランドが店内に初めて「BAPE(R)」を迎え入れ、新しいコンセプトにより誕生した「BAPE STORE(R)コムデギャルソン大阪」。国内15店舗目となる同店は、世界の一流ブランドショップが立ち並ぶ心斎橋・御堂筋に移転リニューアルしたコムデギャルソン大阪店1階に堂々オープン。

The brand “COMME des GARCONS” was founded in 1969 by worldwide famous Japanese fashion designer, Rei Kawakubo. “COMME des GARCONS” welcomed in BAPE(R) for the new concept “BAPE STORE(R) COMME des GARCONS OSAKA”. The 15th BAPE STORE(R) in Japan, opened on the first floor of the Comme des Garcons Osaka store, renewed and relocated to Midosuji in Shinsaibashi, Osaka where many of the world’s leading brand stores gather.

2020年4月3日(金)、大阪 心斎橋に「コムデギャルソン」の新しいフラッグシップショップがオープンした。
御堂筋沿いに位置するビルの2フロアからなる同店のエントランスをくぐり抜けると、すぐ目に飛び込んでくるのはお馴染みのBAPE(R) CAMOと壁面に装飾されたAPE HEAD。白を基調としたコムデギャルソンの店内でもひときわ異彩を放ち、その存在感に驚かされる。BAPE(R)のアイコンをダイナミックに使いながらも、木製の角柱で組み上げられた「BAPE STORE(R)コムデギャルソン大阪」は、BAPE(R)の伝統的なブランディングと川久保玲氏が手掛けた内装が巧みに融合し、唯一無二の洗練された空間を作り上げている。また、店舗の中央に配置されたディスプレイテーブル、一見すると気づかないが、実はBAPE(R) CAMOの柄の一片がモチーフとなっており、細部にまでこだわりがうかがえる。通常のBAPE(R)と趣は異なるが、魅力をコンパクトに凝縮した同店の佇まいは、まさにコンセプトストア。いまだかつてない新しいBAPE STORE(R)を体験することができるだろう。

On Friday, April 3rd, 2020, A BATHING APE(R) opened “BAPE STORE(R) Comme des Garcons Osaka” along Midosuji in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
As you pass through the store’s entrance along Midosuji, you will see the familiar BAPE(R) CAMO and the APE HEAD on the wall. The interior of Comme des Garcons based on white, has a distinctive appearance and strong presence. “BAPE STORE(R) Comme des Garcons Osaka”, which is made up of wooden framework-like fixtures while dynamically using BAPE(R) icons, is a unique combination of BAPE(R)’s traditional branding and sublime interior design by Rei Kawakubo, creating a unique and sophisticated space. In addition, the display table in the center of the store, which may not be noticeable at first glance, is actually a motif of a piece from the BAPE(R) CAMO pattern.
