株式会社Jizai（本社：東京都文京区、代表取締役CEO 石川佑樹、以下「Jizai」）は、カスタマイズできる汎用AIロボット「Mi-Mo（ミーモ）」の名称を「Palmimo（パルミーモ）」に変更することをお知らせします。なお、本変更は名称・ロゴ等の表記に関するものであり、製品の仕様・開発方針・提供予定に変更はありません。
名称変更の内容
今回の名称変更により、製品名は以下の通り変更となります。

名称変更の背景
Jizaiは、2025年1月の「CES 2025」での初公開以来、「Mi-Mo」の名称で汎用AIロボットの研究開発を進めてまいりました。このたび、今後のグローバルでの事業展開を見据えたブランド体制整備の一環として、名称を「Palmimo」に変更いたします。
新名称「Palmimo」は、「Pal（相棒・友達）」「Palm（手のひら）」と旧名称「Mi-Mo」を掛け合わせた造語です。相棒のように人の暮らしや仕事のそばに寄り添い、手のひらのように身近な存在でありたいという想いを込めています。
「Palmimo DevKit」について
「Palmimo DevKit（パルミーモ デブキット / 開発キット）」は、開発者や企業が目的に応じて動きや機能をカスタマイズできる汎用AIロボットの卓上サイズで小型の開発キットです。視覚・音声・動作に関する情報をもとに、周囲の状況を理解し、自律的に判断・行動するロボットの実現を目指しています。
カスタマイズできる汎用AIロボット「Palmimo DevKit」の詳細については、2026年夏を目処に発表予定です。

Jizai Renames Its Customizable General-Purpose AI Robot "Mi-Mo" to "Palmimo"
Jizai Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yuki Ishikawa; hereinafter "Jizai") announces that it will rename its customizable general-purpose AI robot "Mi-Mo" to "Palmimo." This change applies only to the product name, logo, and related notations; there are no changes to the product's specifications, development policy, or planned offerings.

With this change, the product names will be updated as follows.

Background
Since its debut at CES 2025 in January 2025, Jizai has advanced the research and development of its general-purpose AI robot under the name "Mi-Mo." As part of building a stronger brand foundation for global business expansion, the company will rename the product "Palmimo."
The new name "Palmimo" is a coined word combining "pal," "palm," and the former name "Mi-Mo." It reflects our hope that the robot will be a trusted pal that stays by people's side in daily life and work - as familiar and close as the palm of one's hand.
About the "Palmimo DevKit"
The "Palmimo DevKit" is a compact, tabletop-sized development kit for a general-purpose AI robot, allowing developers and businesses to customize its movements and functions according to their objectives. It aims to realize a robot that understands its surrounding circumstances and makes decisions and takes action autonomously, based on visual, audio, and motion information.
Further details on the customizable general-purpose AI robot "Palmimo DevKit" are scheduled to be announced around summer 2026.
